Help Kelsey raise money

I am happy to be a part of a 12 woman team doing Run Across Georgia Memorial Day weekend. The Run Across Georgia is a 277.2 mile run that starts on Tybee Island and ends in Columbus.

All funds donated will support two awesome charities, House of Heroes and MercyMed Clinic.

Founded in January 2000, the House of Heroes™ is a nonprofit organization serving our nation's military and public safety veterans (and their spouses) who are disabled, living on a fixed income, or facing other physical/financial challenges. Volunteers perform minor repairs and make improvements to the homes of veterans and their spouses—at no cost to the veteran—through the generosity of individuals, civic organizations, and corporations.

MercyMed is a medical clinic that cares for local Columbusites that walk through its doors. Insurance or not, patients are just as welcome to call MercyMed their medical home. They provide healthcare for people in all walks of life. MercyMed operates knowing that Christ created every living person in His image and declared his creation “very good.” Therefore, they desire to treat people with respect, love and honor. Since their patients are created in His image, MercyMed desires to give them the highest quality healthcare available. Individuals without insurance are placed on a sliding scale based on income. 

MercyMed treats physical ailments but also cares for the mental and spiritual well being of their patients as well. They have counseling services and prayer partners on site. They desire for their patients to be healthy physically, emotionally, and spiritually so that they can live a life that brings glory to the God who created them.
