My Story…
Hello friends, this year I am participating in the Yorkville Constantine race with my kids to raise much needed funds for Toronto’s Victim Services, an organization that supports victims of crime in providing emotional & practical assistance in the immediate aftermath of crime. They have many programs supporting women, kids, youth and much more.

Every 6 days, a woman in Canada is killed by her intimate partner.
Join us in supporting families fleeing abusive relationships and stand up against domestic violence and all forms of gender-based violence.
Victim Services Toronto provides services to 20,000 people each year. Our services help victims in the immediate aftermath of crime and sudden tragedy with crisis counselling, locating and arranging services, and resources to address immediate needs such as accommodation, transportation, food, to name a few. Approximately 75% of the people we work with are victims of gender-based violence including intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic Victim Services Toronto has received a 30% increase in calls for help from women escaping dangerous and violent situations with their children and who are at risk of losing their lives at the hands of their abuser.
Victim Services Toronto provides short-term crisis response, intervention, and prevention services which are responsive to the needs of individuals, families, and communities in the immediate aftermath of crime and sudden tragedy.
