Our story…
We are running this 5K event in loving memory of Jade DeCastro.
We remember Jade with an infectious laugh and a smile she would always share, how she put everyone before herself, and all the amazing connections she made at Sick Kids Hospital last year.
Jade had a love for soccer and living an active lifestyle. She would skateboard around the neighbourhood or ride her bike with her friends regularly.
On October 9th, 2021 Jade received her Angel wings after losing a hard, harsh fought battle to cancer that lasted for 10 months. Jade was 15 years old and is deeply missed by everyone who knew her bright, shining light.
Your charitable donation is greatly appreciated. All funds raised go directly to the Canadian Cancer Society who provide a vital support system to people with cancer and their families.
