My Story…

I’m fundraising with the CCA to support scientific research and education about celiac disease.


Celiac disease is a serious autoimmune disease that occurs in genetically predisposed people. It’s hereditary, meaning it runs in families. It can develop at any age. 

It is estimated to affect 1 in 100 people worldwide, but only about 30% are properly diagnosed. This is because many people are asymptomatic while internal damage is occurring. Left untreated, celiac disease can lead to additional serious health problems.
