Our story…
My cousin Cassandra was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in November 2020. Her journey has been both devastating and inspiring. Through the power of community and social media, we were able to get in contact with an amazing advocate (through CCRAN), who ultimately helped Cassandra get her life-saving surgery. To give back and express our deepest gratitude, my family will be participating in the Bumrun Toronto. All donations will go directly to charities that work to encourage screening, awareness and prevention of colon cancer.
