My Story…
I can't believe that it's been 30 years since Helen and I--with a small group of good friends--started Against the Tide as a fundraiser for the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition. Helen and I will both participate in the 30th-year anniversary edition of Against the Tide on June 18 at Hopkinton State Park in Hopkinton, Mass. I joined Helen's work team (Team GMO) this year, so that should explain the team name.:) Would love it if you could join us on the team--and if you can't join us, it would be wonderful if you could sponsor us. The MBCC is still, after all, the only advocacy group in the state that's dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer prevention from environmental causes.
