Substance use disorder is blind to race, socioeconomic status, gender... everything. I'm running this race in memory of Mark, who tried so hard to overcome SUD but ultimately lost his battle and in honor of his mom Patti. It is my hope that their story helps others find recovery and hope - something that Patti has brought to me so many times in the time I've known her. Please join me in supporting Herren Project and the outstanding work they do.
