My Story…
Honored to be a part of the team running for William's Be Yourself Challenge.
I have been running since I was a teenager and running has always helped me deal with the complexities of life and the emotions and experiences that come with it. I have run two marathons: in 2008 I ran the Marine Corps Marathon in 4:30:18; in 2010 I ran NYC in 4:10:16. Ten years and two kids later, my passion and drive are as strong as ever. Im really excited to run for William's Be Yourself Challenge!
The Shaw family are very important to me and my family. We love William and miss him and carry him with us always. I was blessed to spend time in Falmouth with William and think it'll be amazing to celebrate his life with the Falmouth community, to share WBYC with others, and to raise awareness about grief.
