Help Rachael raise money

"There is no cure, there is nothing you can do". These are words that no parent ever wants to hear.  These words have a weight on your heart like no other.  Until 2016, these were words that people diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) heard.  In the most severe diagnosis parents were told to take their baby home and to love them and that was all to be done.  And so, I humbly ask as I do every year that you continue to support me and my family in our efforts to raise awareness and funds for Cure SMA.  Our Bingo is thriving today because of dedication and commitment of so many before us.  Bingo has a future with mobility.  She has a future- something that we may not have had if she had been born before treatment was available.  I do not take this lightly.  Not having Bingo in my life is something that I'm not sure I could face. 

When you support me through this run, you support Cure SMA and you provide hope to families across the world.  With your support I don't have to be as worried about a future without my Bingo because research is funded and new treatments flourish. With SMA there are options now and there are options because people before us supported this cause and we must continue that work to keep the momentum.  A donation no matter the size helps to fund research for more treatment, it funds programs and equipment and access.  

Thank you for supporting me in this cause.  As I take the line in August for my 5th Falmouth Road Race I will channel your support and love.
