My Story…
Hi Everyone!
As most of you know, I have been training for for a 10k that is taking place in August. This year I will be running the 2022 ASICS Falmouth Road Race in honor of Owen Higgins and James Lavin. These two young men unfortunately passed away in a fatal car accident in the winter of 2016. They were about the graduate high school and start their lives. The loss of Owen and James shook the Falmouth community along with their best friends, one of them being my boyfriend, Tyler. I unfortunately never got to meet them but from what I heard they were bright, athletic and well-loved people. In support of this, him and his friends started the 1019 Foundation which has been created to give scholarships to graduating high school athletes who have made an impact in the community. This is the first year that the 1019 Foundation will be a part of the 50th Annual Falmouth Road Race. Any support would be greatly appreciated to further their legacy throughout the community.
