My Story…
This is my second year running the Falmouth Road Race for Gosnold. Gosnold to me is where my recovery began. I entered the doors of their treatment facility and was safe in treatment for three months while I started to find myself. I have been employed by this company for the past five years and continue to help others find a pathway to recovery.
This fundraiser to me isn’t just about raising money, it’s about raising awareness and getting information out there that people do recover from addiction. That anyone who is struggling with any mood or mind-altering substance can seek treatment and recover. This year I am running for the people close in my heart that are gone, for the next person that walks through the doors asking for help, and for myself.
