My Story…
On Sunday August 21st, I am running in the 50th annual Asics Falmouth Road Race, a 7-mile run from Woods Hole to Falmouth Heights, to support the nonprofit charity, Cure SMA.
SMA (spinal muscular atrophy) is a disease that robs people of physical strength by affecting the motor nerve cells in the spinal cord, taking away the ability to walk, eat or breathe. It is the number one genetic cause of death for infants.
Cure SMA is dedicated to the treatment and cure of spinal muscular atrophy by funding groundbreaking research and providing families with the support they need.
Please join me in supporting this great charity by contributing to Cure SMA. My personal fundraising goal is $1000.
Thank you for your support.
