My Story…
I'm running the 50th Falmouth Road Race this year with the mission of raising money for research on neurodegenerative diseases. These conditions, like Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and others, have had a profound impact in my family and in millions of others worldwide. Advancing research on early diagnosis and options for treatment has the potential to profoundly improve lives.
Brigham and Women's Hospital is an exceptional research and clinical care hospital, with deep personal meaning for my family. Ian and I met while working here, having developed strong relationships with many physician researchers who are leaders in their fields, including neurodegenerative disease. And sweetly, our son Will was born at BWH. So I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to be a part of BWH's Falmouth Road Race team and to run for a cause that carries such great personal meaning, on many levels.
