Help Gabriela raise money

Hi everyone! This summer will be the 50th annual Falmouth Road Race and after being on the sidelines all these years, it’s finally my turn to lace up and take the course. I do so in honor of my dad, Jay Jerahian, who lost his battle to cancer back in 2013. I have also been given the great privilege of joining and raising money for the Tommy’s Place foundation team.

 Tommy’s Place is an incredible organization that offers a vacation home for kids who are battling cancer. Knowing that it takes a village, Tommy’s Place allows for children and their friends/families to spend quality time together relaxing and making new memories, all while completely free of charge. As someone who has seen first hand the effect that cancer has on a close loved one and the truthfulness behind “it takes a village”, I am honored to be running for this team and what it stands for. 

 One of the rooms in Tommy’s Place is named after Liesl Radzik, a wonderful woman and dear friend who also courageously lost her battle to cancer. So it is with great pride that I am also able to run in her memory, while keeping her wonderful mantra “Because Nice Matters” in the back of my mind while I make my way to the finish line and remember what brought us here.
