My Story…
This year will be my 3rd year running the Falmouth Road Race as a member of Team Ellie. I run for Team Ellie in memory of my mom. My mom’s strength, both physical and emotional, and courage in her battles against cancer is my inspiration to raise money, train, and run. My family was fortunate to receive care, love, and support from her team throughout her treatments and that is something I want to ensure is available to everyone. Cancer is hard enough, and no one should have to worry about life’s everyday stressors while battling. All breast cancer patients deserve love, support, and most importantly hope. I am raising money for Team Ellie to pay it forward and provide the much needed support to others who are battling this terrible disease.
The Ellie Fund is a local non-profit based in Needham, MA that provides essential support services for breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery and healing. The Ellie Fund aims to ease some of the everyday stresses that accompany a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment plan. Donations to the Ellie Fund allow for the continuation of essential services, providing hope during a scary and uncertain time. Please consider donating if you can.
It means so much to me to be able to run in support of the Ellie Fund. Thank you so much for your support!!
