Thank you for visiting my Falmouth Road Race fundraising page for the Cape Cod Times Needy Fund. I appreciate you considering a contribution to my effort in support of the Needy Fund. Your generosity will help Cape Codders facing temporary financial crisis; it could help those in need to cover the cost of food, daycare, car insurance, medicine, or any number of unexpected expenses that might keep them out of work or unable to live on Cape Cod. Working together, we can help keep Cape Cod a strong and compassionate community that cares for one another.
I'll be running the "At Home" version of the race on the same course I've run the past couple years around Osterville. Hopefully, temperatures will cool off a bit before my run next week. I'll let you know how it goes - cheers and thank you!
Description
The Cape Cod Times Needy Fund, Inc. has been helping local residents since 1936. Our mission is to provide urgent financial assistance for basic human needs such as housing, food, medical needs, transportation and heat, to individuals and families residing on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket who are experiencing temporary financial hardships. Most of the money raised comes from Cape Cod individuals, families, businesses, clubs, civic organizations, schools and faith communities - "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" is what the Needy Fund is all about.
