Help Margaret raise money

Many of you may know my middle child Nora has developed life threatening food allergies as well as just recently asthma. I remember being in complete shock when after having peanut butter for the THIRD time, her face broke out in horrible hives. Then the hand print of hives on her trunk from Kyle picking her up after he was cooking with eggs. We had no family history of food allergies and it was not a prior concern of ours. And this past Winter we were in and out of the hospital/pediatrician's office as she struggled to breathe with common colds ultimately leading to an asthma diagnosis. Unfortunately, I know so many other families that have been hit with this reality just the same as us. Some who helped us acclimate to the news and some after her diagnosis, whom we got to help. The number of children that are living with this condition is growing at an alarming pace. It has been very frightening as a parent but we've been focusing on educating all our kids of the precautions they need to take in order to stay safe with asthma and food allergies. This is why I'm so excited to have the opportunity to run the Falmouth Road Race and raise money for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America! The funds they receive are used for patient centered research; education programs for schools, nurses, and families; advocacy to improve federal laws and policies; and community outreach!!!
