Help Sal raise money

For participating in The 2022 ASICS Falmouth Road Race

My RMH Motivation

I am very excited to once again be joining the Ronald McDonald House Charities of New England Falmouth Road Race Team and running the historic Falmouth Road Race! While so many aspects of our life were put on pause this past year for the pandemic, pediatric illness was not.  The Ronald McDonald House in Boston Harbor and Providence continue to receive requests for housing from families who need to travel to receive critical medical care for their child.   Which is why I am asking for your support now. On August 21, 2022 I will still be hitting the pavement to race 7 miles, I have been training hard preparing for the race but I can’t succeed alone. I need your help to reach and exceed my fundraising goal of $100,000  with your support, our team hopes to provide over 500 nights of accommodations to families in need.  The funds raised by the RMH Falmouth Road Race Team goes directly to the RMHC New England. Families come to Ronald McDonald House from all over the world, often they are leaving behind family and friends to seek out the medical care which they feel will give their child the best chance at survival. Ronald McDonald House eases the financial burden of housing, provides a sense of normalcy and keeps families together during times of medical crisis. I hope I can count on you to support my run by contributing to this very special program. If you would like to make an online donation, you can support this important cause by visiting my personal fundraising page. Checks should be made payable to the Ronald McDonald Charities of New England and should include my name in the memo section or in an attached note. They can be mailed to: Ronald McDonald House 45 Gay Street Providence, RI 02905

Thank you in advance for your support!

Description

Each year hundreds of families travel to New England from locations all over the world to give their child access to the best medical care. In doing so, they face enormous hurdles such as navigating the complexities of the health care system, extraordinarily high local housing costs, and excessive emotional and physical stress. At the Ronald McDonald House Charities of New England we remove the stress of daily living and support families to enable them to focus on what really matters: their child’s health and healing.

On August 21, 2022 Team RMHCNE will hit the pavement to race the historic 7 mile course, while raising critical funds to support the Ronald McDonald House in Providence and the Ronald McDonald House at Boston Harbor.

This past year has shown us all the importance of health and family.   Despite the pandemic, parents continued to go the distance to ensure their child has access the world’s best medical care, here in New England.  This year Team RMHCNE will work together to provide over 900 nights of housing, comfort and support for families of critically ill children. Together, we can reduce the stress associated with financial strain so families can focus on the health of their children.

I hope I can count on you to support my run by contributing to this very special program!
