My Story…
The Popkin Family is fundraising on behalf of the Ellie Fund, and we are all running in this year's virtual online Falmouth Road Race!
We are running in memory of Jeff's mom, Ellie Popkin, who passed away after a long battle with breast cancer. The Ellie Fund was founded by Jeff to honor her life and her memory. Education, giving back to the community, and family were the most important things to Ellie. We hope you will help us give back and continue the values that she stood for. The Ellie Fund was started by running races and we are thrilled to get back those original roots of fundraising by participating in this year's Falmouth Road Race. Your support means so much to us and we thank you for helping to further the Ellie Fund's mission: To provide essential support services for breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery and healing. Providing critical support services including transportation to medical appointments, childcare, housekeeping, groceries and nutritious prepared/delivered meals free of charge helps to relieve our patients’ burden while in treatment.
Thank you so much for your support!
