My Story…
In March of 2020 when I was sent home from my freshman year of college, I set a goal for myself to become a better runner. During the first couple of months of quarantine, it quickly became an outlet for me to find joy and an escape from my own anxiety. Since then, running has become important for my mental health and self-care. For that reason, I am so excited to run in the Falmouth Road Race with Mental Health Collaborative.
I have been working with MHC for the past two years and it has been an absolute joy! Their mission is strong and ever so important - MHC is dedicated to ending the stigma and improving mental health literacy across communities by moving away from a crisis-based response toward a model of prevention through education and awareness.
I hope you will consider donating to my page and looking further into MHC!
