Help Corey raise money

For participating in The 2022 ASICS Falmouth Road Race

My Story…

I am so honored to join Team Ouimet in running the 50th Annual Falmouth Road Race to raise money for College Scholarships!

62705f35f0286.pngI will be running in the "at-home edition" from New York City - as I begin my post-Babson Career in Finance!

This year, I am honored to announce that 100% of the donations to my campaign will directly fund an endowment for the Cartaglia-Lowery Award. Last August, I was honored to be the inaugural recipient of this award in Frank's name. Going forward, the award will be presented to a Wellesley Country Ouimet Scholar on an annual basis based upon their representation of Ouimet Core Values. The endowment we hope to create via this campaign will tie a financial scholarship to receiving Frank's award.62702611c45d5.jpg

The Ouimet Scholarship and working in golf have changed the trajectory of my life. The financial support I received via Ouimet allowed me to attend Babson College.

As I reflect on my years at Vesper and Wellesley Country Club, one mentor stands above the rest. My boss, my friend, and my role model -  Frank Cartaglia. Frank has served as the Outside Operations Director of Wellesley Country Club for 23 years. Frank has changed dozens of young lives with his support, compassion, and friendliness. For everyone who is lucky enough to know Frank, you know him as one who puts others first.

For more information on the ways in which working in golf has changed my life, I invite you to watch my address at the 2021 Francis Ouimet Annual Banquet, honoring Jim Nantz

About the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund:

The Ouimet Fund’s purpose is to help deserving young men and women, who have worked at golf courses in Massachusetts, obtain a college education. We provide need-based college scholarships, which are renewable and worth an average of $30,000 over the course of four years, with some students receiving as much as $80,000.

Since 1949, The Fund has awarded nearly $44 Million in scholarships to more than 6,325 deserving men and women. Recently, Ouimet Scholars have excelled in school, graduating at a 92% rate and achieving a 3.5 GPA average! The Ouimet Fund is the largest independent scholarship fund in New England and works to enhance the legacy of Mr. Ouimet by growing the scholarship fund he loved so dearly.
