My Story…
Hi everyone!
I am excited to be running the Falmouth Road Race as part of TeamBAF for the second year in a row and will be raising funds for the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
The BAF aspires towards a life without death or disabilities caused by brain aneurysm ruptures. Brain aneurysms are treatable, which is why identifying an aneurysm before rupture is critical. The money raised for TeamBAF goes directly to research and raising awareness, so we can all get a step closer to preventing ruptures, disability, and death.
As you all know, I lost my mom to an undiagnosed brain aneurysm when it ruptured the morning of November 1, 2020. All of the money raised under my page will go towards the Sara Hebner Chair of Research with the ultimate goal of preventing anyone else from losing their own Sara.
Thank you all for donating, it means the world!
Olivia
P.S. The picture is from one of my mom's very first half marathons!
