I'm supporting another great charity this year, supporting our veterans as always! After running several Run to Home Base events to raise awareness and money for that charity, I decided to turn to the Falmouth Road Race, for a chance to support Homes for our Troops, a great charity whose mission is also focused on helping veterans and their families. Your support will help HFOT, in their mission to build and deliver custom homes for as many of these brave men and women and their families as possible. (In case you are wondering, they are a 4-Star rated charity with Charity Navigator.) Thank you!
Description
HFOT Mission: To build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured Post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Since its inception in 2004, nearly 90 cents out of every dollar spent has gone directly to our program services for Veterans. HFOT builds these homes where the Veteran chooses to live, and continues its relationship with the Veterans after home delivery to assist them with rebuilding their lives.
