About me and my run.
I've never considered myself a runner, but have developed into one thanks to the pandemic. I completed my first half-marathon in January 2020, and vowed never to run that distance again. Fast forward to today. I completed 3 half-marathons in 2021 leading up to my biggest physical challenge to date...the 2022 Dopey Challenge at Walt Disney World (5K-10K-Half-Full on consecutive days)...and survived. As my interest in running has grown, I’m excited to participate in such a historic race!
I'm also very excited to raise funds for the NeighborWorks Housing Solutions! Affordable housing is a cause near and dear to my heart as I feel home ownership is a key step of establishing personal wealth and everyone should have access to this opportunity. I also believe in its efforts surrounding homelessness prevention and assisting domestic abuse survivors and veterans.
Thank you for any support you can provide!
