My Story…
I'm very excited to be participating in the Falmouth Road Race on behalf of the Cape Cod Times Needy Fund. There are many people on the Cape and Islands who need a helping hand and the Needy Fund is there to give it. But they can't provide assistance without your generosity. I am also participating in memory of loved ones I have lost: my mom, my dad, my mother in law, my father in law, and too many friends. The money I raise will assist people in their memory. Description
The Cape Cod Times Needy Fund, Inc. has been helping local residents since 1936. Our mission is to provide urgent financial assistance for basic human needs such as housing, food, medical needs, transportation and heat, to individuals and families residing on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket who are experiencing temporary financial hardships. Most of the money raised comes from Cape Cod individuals, families, businesses, clubs, civic organizations, schools and faith communities - "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" is what the Needy Fund is all about.
