Team Eye and Ear Falmouth 2022
This year I am beyond grateful to be able to run the 50th anniversary of the Falmouth Road Race under Team Mass Eye and Ear.
For those of us blessed with the gift of vision and hearing, it is not always easy to keep top of mind just how privileged we are to be able to see and hear the world around us in its entirety. For those less fortunate, Mass Eye and Ear serves as one of the world’s preeminent institutions for vision and hearing research and treatment, where many across the world (including some of those closest to me) seek out one-of-a-kind care.
Ahead of the race, I am targeting raising $1,000 where all proceeds would go to the center.
Description
Mass Eye and Ear clinicians and scientists are driven by a mission to find cures for blindness, deafness and diseases of the head and neck. Each year, 300,000 people—adults and children—from 80 countries seek care at Mass Eye and Ear and 20,000 of them undergo life-changing surgery.
Mass Eye and Ear is home to the world's largest vision and hearing research centers, offering hope and healing to patients everywhere through discovery and innovation. As a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital, Mass Eye and Ear trains future medical leaders in ophthalmology and otolaryngology through our highly competitive residency and fellowship programs.
