Help Jessica raise money

In my 32 years of life, I have never ran the infamous Falmouth Road Race. Being a born and raised Falmouth girl I have always felt it was my duty to run it at least ONCE, just to say I did. Part of my why is THAT. To say I did it. To know I COULD do it. We can be so hard on ourselves...I am a fitness professional, working as a personal trainer and fitness instructor at B/Spoke Studios here on Cape, yet every time I lace up my sneaks I doubt my ability to run. I talk poorly to myself and remind myself that I am NOT a runner. But, I think back to when I was asked by one of my dedicated clients to run this year I laughed and said no way. I was soon convinced to at least CONSIDER it and that I did. The person who asked has been a dedicated member of the B/Spoke Community, a community that has welcomed and become a huge outlet for those in recovery. I am honored to say that this year, my very FIRST FRR, I am running for something bigger than my ego. This year, I run for recovery. I have personally been affected and in relationships with those suffering from substance abuse and am the product of a father in recovery. No matter what you are recovering from, it looks different for everyone. I am proud to say that at B/Spoke we have a huge community of people in recovery, of all kinds. I was so thrilled to be asked to be a part of the team running for WellStrong. WellStrong’s mission is to create safe, supportive communities of people in recovery from substance use disorder through fitness, wellness and meditation.
