OUR FINISH LINE SAYS ALS DONE!
This year, I have received the incredible opportunity to run my first ASICS Falmouth Road Race with Team ALS ONE.
ALS is a terminal, neurological disease that gradually deteriorates the ability to control voluntary muscle movement. Quite often, the essential equipment that those battling the disease require is not covered by insurance. Those with ALS do not have the time to wait for the essentials they need in order to live their best lives while battling the devastating effects of the disease. As a result, they require help and generosity from people who understand the pain that those suffering from ALS endure as well as the heartache that friends and family members feel as they watch their loved ones battle this painful and weakening disease.
Your donation today will go directly to ALS ONE: a partnership of world leaders in ALS research and care (The Healey Center for ALS at MGH, UMass Medical School, ALS Therapy Development Institute, and Compassionate Care ALS) that send every donation to the research dedicated to finding a cure, as well as directly to the critical care and essential resources for individuals battling ALS to help comfort them through their time with this horrible disease.
I am excited to have been given the opportunity to run for such an amazing and charitable organization, with an even more inspirational mission. Any donation you contribute today would be incredibly appreciated, thank you so much!
