My Story…
Those who know me know that I love soccer. From a young age, my dad taught me that soccer was "the great unifier". I could go anywhere, play some soccer, and instantly make friends. I've been lucky enough to find teams in Tennessee, Boston, New Hampshire, Chile, and Guatemala. I've shared the pitch with teammates from Venezuela, Mexico, China, Iraq, Colombia, and Honduras (to name a few).
Soccer Without Borders has given me the platform to share what I've learned about the importance of soccer as a way to build confidence, community, strength, and resilience. My work as an assistant coach with the high schoolers in East Boston has been extremely rewarding. I'm excited to run the Falmouth Road Race this August as an SWB charity runner.
