I'm a Best Buddies advocate and champion because inclusion for those with an intellectual disability shouldn't be a cause; it should be a fundamental aspect of our society.

In middle school, I started getting involved with Best Buddies MA/RI, where I met my first buddy, Pelly, in the Spring of 2008. Fourteen years later, Pelly and I still hang out, chat on the phone weekly, and are still involved in each other's lives. During the past decade, my involvement with Best Buddies has flourished from being a high school chapter president to undergrad volunteer to friendship walk chair and now an advisory board member.
