OUR FINISH LINE SAYS ALS DONE!

THANK YOU FOR VISITING THE PAGE OF

PEGGY & TOM POLLIZI

Dear Friends & Family,

THANK YOU for visiting our fundraising page. This year, we will be running with very heavy hearts after having just lost our beloved Mick on 3/6/22 after his two and a half year courageous, valiant, and incredibly inspiring battle with the most horrific disease that exists - ALS.  Mick was our rock and our hero and our hearts are broken but the only thing to do now is to help end that disease to help others who will also have their and their family's lives shattered after hearing the words "I'm so sorry to tell you, but you have ALS and there is no cure".

We also want so desperately to help individuals receive the necessary equipment they need to live the best quality of life possible while living and dying from the disease. Things that were so helpful to Mick - items such as lifts, ramps, and wheelchairs, among many other things - which aren't often covered, or covered entirely by insurance.  And that's what ALS ONE does - they advance critical ALS research while helping people who are living with ALS now.

That said, Tom and I are proud to be honoring Mick's legendary life by once again running on Team ALS ONE in this year's Falmouth Road Race - completing 7 miles each in August and all funds raised go directly to ALS ONE's mission.  This is ALS ONE's largest team of the year - one that is extremely important - and we'd be so grateful for your support.

By donating to our fundraising, you will be supporting the promising research of Dr.'s Merit Cudkowicz, James Berry, and Sabrina Paganoni, and their teams at The Healey Center for ALS at Massachusetts General Hospital (where Mick was overseen), as well as helping to provide essential equipment to so many ALS heroes who are currently battling the disease through ALS ONE's care partner, Compassionate Care ALS (CCALS).

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for any donation you can give. Your support means the world to all of us,

Love,

Peggy & Tom

💚💙
