My Story…
This year I am running the Falmouth Road Race with the Heroes in Transition nonprofit organization. I am super excited to be participating as this is my first ever road race! HIT works to provide assistance for veterans and military families in the United States. If you would like to read more about all that this organization does there is more information below! Description
Heroes In Transition, is a 501 (c) 3, not-for-profit organization. We recognize those who have served or who are serving our country, HIT provides assistance in 4 key areas:
- Transitional Support Groups, including equine therapy and couples retreats
- Financial support for service families
- Assistance dogs for veterans
- Home modifications
Our mission is to provide assistance that is not readily available from other organizations including local, state, and federal agencies. Your generosity will help support our heroes. To learn more about
