Friends and Family. Many of you know that over the past year and a half I worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Healey Center for ALS at Massachusetts General Hospital. This experience was one of the most challenging yet rewarding times of my life. I had the privilege of working alongside some of the world's most dedicated and passionate ALS physician researchers and a team of Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Physical Therapists, Coordinators and Project Managers who come together to both care for ALS patients and advance ALS research. On August 21st, I will be running in the Falmouth Road Race, alongside many of my previous coworkers, on the ALS One Team. ALS ONE is an incredible organization that continues to advocate for increased funding for ALS research and bring hope to the ALS community that newer and better therapies will soon become available.
