My Story…
I am so excited to run the Falmouth Road Race to raise funds for CCALS(Compassionate Care ALS). I am running for TEAM TC in memory of my friend's husband Tom Connolly who succumbed to this horrible disease 13 years ago. CCALS was such an important and helpful support to the family during his illness. They provided durable goods to assist in living with ALS, provided support groups and general emotional and moral support. Tom's family has continued "paying it forward" for the past 13 years to help support families living the nightmare that is ALS. Please consider supporting me in my run to help this worthy cause. CCALS offers an innovative and holistic range of services tailored to meet the needs of individuals with ALS and their families. The services we offer are typically not covered by insurance. CCALS works with families in New England, across the United States, and internationally. The organization provides resources including equipment, educational workshops, Medicare/Medicaid assistance, guidance and awareness in living with ALS, caregiving, and end-of-life issues.
