Our Story
I have the privilege of running the Falmouth Road Race for a 2nd time in support of the Live4Evan Foundation. Last year, with the donations from friends and family, I was able to surpass my goal having raised over $3000. This contribution to the foundation helped them in opening a 5th apartment this year for families in desperate need of housing while their children are being treated for heart related illnesses at Boston Children's Hospital.
For anyone not familiar with my personal connection to Live4Evan; my son Paul Gordon III was born in 2019 with a critical form of Aortic Stenosis with additional complications. Having had 3 open heart surgeries in his young life, among many other challenges, he has proven himself a warrior.
We owe all of the excellent staff at Boston Children's Hospital for Paul's care, but it is the help of foundations such as Live4Evan that allowed us to be there for him each and every day with housing in Boston near the hospital. Paul being in the hospital for 21 weeks total combined; it would have been impossible without support to be there at all times to advocate for him and make sure he was never alone.
There are currently 37 families on the waiting list for housing so please help me in surpassing my goal again this year and helping this amazing foundation. Thank you!
Donate to help Paul raise money for The 2022 ASICS Falmouth Road Race’s fundraising campaign.
