Our Story
I am extremely excited and proud that I get to run with the Live4Evan team at the 50th anniversary of the Falmouth Road Race.
I was a classmate of Evan Girardi's while at Loyola University in Maryland. Ev and I were both members of the class of 2011. I'm still buddies with folks that have been or continue to be heavily involved with L4E.
This past October, my wife and I welcomed our 2nd baby boy into the world, Quinn, and we had found out that he had a CHD at our 20 week anatomy scan. He has Double Outlet Right Ventricle.
Q underwent his first surgery at 3 days old and we were in the hospital for 3 weeks. He then underwent his 2nd surgery at the end of March and we were in the hospital for just under 2 months. We got out right before Memorial Day Weekend and Quinn is very much enjoying his summer :)
The Live4Evan cause being at the intersection of a former classmate of mine and now my son's condition, really strikes close to home for me. What better way to help out by raising funds to run in the Falmouth Road Race - a race I unfortunately know far too well :).
I appreciate all the help and support!
