Help Lauren raise money

My amazing Mum, Lynda Connolly, volunteers her time and expertise to Belonging to Each Other, a Falmouth, MA organization that provides housing and supportive services to Falmouth residents experiencing homelessness in the cold Cape Cod winter months. My Mum is one of my heroes and I'm so excited to support the work she is doing in her community.  This August 21, 2022, I'll be running the Falmouth Road Race to benefit Belonging to Each Other (BTEO)!  I haven't run an official race since an ill-advised Turkey Trot a few years ago.  I'm hopeful that I can rediscover my runner's high on this historically hilly course on what will likely be a very humid August day at the Cape!  I'm nothing if not an eternal optimist!  Please join me in my hope and action to support better days ahead for the brave clients and exceptional volunteers of BTEO.   

The photo features me, my bestie Siobhan and her Aunt Julie.  We took this just before the 2005 Falmouth Road Race which was the first/last time I ran this race with Siobhan O'Neil and her family honoring the memory of her amazing Uncle Steve Wright who wore #33 on the Boston University hoops team.  I'm still laughing about that epic day and maybe still apologizing to Sio's parents for my post-race celebration behavior.  This year's post-race celebration will likely be a bit more tame.  I can't be sure.  No promises.
