This Ballantyne road race tradition continues on May 14th, marking the 18th annual Run! Ballantyne 8K, 5K, and Fun Run Presented by Northwood Office. With close to 1,500 participants in 2021, this Sara’s YMCA signature event is one of the largest road races in the Ballantyne area. Hit the pavement and make your footprints count in support of the YMCA Annual Campaign that gives youth an opportunity to play, learn and grow in a safe and thriving environment. With the community’s support in 2021, Run! Ballantyne raised over $100,000, providing hundreds of children the opportunity to participate in enriching, life-changing YMCA programs like preschool, after school, summer camp and sports.
Run! Ballantyne Presented by Northwood Office offers multiple routes designed within the Ballantyne Corporate Park. Perfect for runners and walkers of all levels and ages - beginner to expert. Finishers will receive a custom die-cast finisher medal after crossing the vibrant finish line and everyone can enjoy a post-race party filled with DJ music, awards, sponsor row and more!

Refund Policy
- Due to the fundraising nature of YMCA of Greater Charlotte Annual Campaign events, race registrations are non-refundable & cannot be deferred to a future year.
- Making this event happen in person is a priority, but Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions. This may include changing a live event into a virtual event due to COVID-19 restrictions. In this case, the difference between the live cost and the virtual cost can be credited toward the participant's 2022 registration.
- Registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to "Acts of God".
