My Story…
For me, when treatments are not working, Chronic Migraine means waking up 6 to 7 days per week feeling nauseous and fatigued, and needing a nap just to get through the day. The fatigue has a very big effect on my life as a mother of a 7-year-old and twin 4-year-olds. It's hard to describe in such few words just how much it means to have the energy sucked out of you every day by a neurological disease that nobody can seem to cure -- after all, the ancient Greeks wrote about Migraine, yet we still haven't found a cure! It's so much more than just a headache. It's a complex neurological disease that affects the whole body and causes a large amount of suffering for many people across the world.
