Friends of Downtown Hendersonville

The Friends of Downtown Hendersonville is a 501c3 organization focusing on the vibrance of Downtown Hendersonville's Main Street and 7th Avenue Districts. Funds raised will support the Hendersonville Farmers Market Double SNAP program, providing increased access to fresh, local food at the Hendersonville Farmers Market.

The idea behind doubling SNAP dollars at farmers markets is that the incentives will attract more low-income shoppers and make their grocery dollars stretch further while simultaneously boosting local farmers' income.
