The Steele Creek YMCA C2 Obstacle Trail Run Presented by Price Brothers Plumbing is an outdoor camp adventure that tests your mental and physical ability to overcome and be resilient. Join us at the tranquil campus of YMCA Camp Thunderbird on Saturday, September 10th, for an ideal team-building event that reawakens your inner camp child and connects you with nature. With over 600 participants in 2019, this signature event is soaring to new heights as a rapidly growing contest amongst community groups, companies, and schools. Hit the trails and make your footprints count in support of the YMCA Annual Campaign; giving youth an opportunity to play, learn and grow in a safe and thriving environment by providing hundreds of children the opportunity to participate in enriching, life-changing YMCA programs like preschool, after school, summer camp and sports.
The C2 Obstacle Trail Run Presented by Price Brothers Plumbing is an impactful part of the 2022 YMCA of Greater Charlotte Race Series, with 3-mile and 1-mile obstacle courses for all ages and abilities. First 275 3 Mile and First 125 1 Mile participants to register will receive a custom die-cast finisher medal after crossing the vibrant finish line.

Make the difference as a team and enter the C2 Team Challenge, a friendly competition amongst local businesses, community groups, and schools. Teams earn participation points as runners, walkers, and volunteers. The team with the most points wins a team division award & earns bragging rights as the C2 team most committed to healthy living & social responsibility in 2022.

*Parents are allowed to run alongside their child for encouragement during the Youth 1-Mile Obstacle Run, but are not allowed to perform the obstacles or assist their child during the race. Volunteers will be stationed at each obstacle to provide assistance as needed. (Kids 5-14 Years) - First 125 registered will receive finisher medal.

Refund Policy
- Due to the fundraising nature of YMCA of Greater Charlotte Annual Campaign events, race registrations are non-refundable & cannot be deferred to a future year.
- Making this event happen in person is a priority, but Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions. This may include changing a live event into a virtual event due to COVID-19 restrictions. In this case, the difference between the live cost and the virtual cost can be credited toward the participant's 2022 registration.
- Registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to "Acts of God".
