Help Lori raise money

On Aug 27, I'll be participating in a 5K race to help raise funds for Camp Queen Elizabeth's (CQE) Strong Kids Campaign. I attended both girls' camp and family camp at CQE as a child. It holds a very special place in my heart, not only from all my camp experiences and memories, but also because my dad was part of the Y volunteer team who helped convert the Naval Training camp to CQE children's camp back in the 1950's. Kids who attend CQE each summer get an amazing opportunity for growth, independence, making new friends, teamwork, responsibility, having new adventures and experiences, enjoying nature, and creating great memories. 

Our family legacy continues with my niece being CQE's General Manager of Overnight Camping. She often tells of the impact CQE continues to have on the kids who are fortunate enough to attend. Many children and future leaders who couldn't typically afford to attend CQE are financial supported by the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign. I'm grateful to be able to help raise money so children can experience Camp Queen Elizabeth. If you would like to help, you can make a donation to help send kids to CQE.
