My Story…
Dear friend,
I am participating in the 2400 Feet of Schweitzer ski race again on March 26th 2022 in fundraising support of 24 HOURS FOR HANK, a great cause. The event in its 14th year and entails a 2400 vertical foot ski race at Schweitzer ski area among other activities. Funds are raised for research for a rare disease named Cystinosis, which causes the amino acid cystine to build up in the body, causing damage to internal organs over time. My friend's son Hank (super sweet kid from a lovely ski family) has this disease and is one of only 500 people (mostly kids) to have this disease in the US, hence there are few research dollars put into this. Research into Cystinosis also helps with other "orphaned diseases" as many of the findings help in treatment and cures of other rare diseases. Check it out further here: http://www.24hoursforhank.org/
I participated in this event with my friend Brandon for the past 7 years. I am committed to raising much-needed funds to support this worthy cause, and with your help we can both make a difference! My goal is to raise $1,000.00 before the event.
Will you sponsor me by making a tax-deductible donation today?
Your gift will make a big difference for those who depend on the support of 24 HOURS FOR HANK. Any amount, large or small, is greatly appreciated.
Best, Andy
