My Story…
Nature has always been a healing place for me and I love what Power to Be does to help give everyone access to it. From adaptive equipment for watersports to hiking with a trailrider Power to Be empowers individuals to connect with nature and their community. Unlike most not for profits for people with barriers, Power to Be does not end at age 18, they welcome adults of all ages and families too. This is such a special community and with more money more people can be brought into it and feel the love and experience nature firsthand in ways that they otherwise couldn't. I have volunteered on programs personally and can tell you that the socials, the hikes, the kayaking, the camping trips, all of it is life changing for participants, staff, and volunteers alike.
