Help Barbara raise money

Please help us make this year's 4^th Annual Brampton Run for Veterans in support of Royal Canadian Legion (Ont. Br.15) one of the best ever.

As the world around us changes and the repercussions of COVID-19 are affecting us all, we need your help more than ever! 

As Canadians, we owe a great debt to the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces, past and present, for affording us the life we are so fortunate to have in Canada, by selflessly sacrificing of themselves up to and including their lives!  This is a cause that is very close to my heart, so raising funds by participating in a Run/Walk for veterans seems the least I can do.  My father, Flight Sgt. William Sproule was in the RCAF in WW2, a rear gunner in a Whitley bomber and was shot down, captured and spent 4 years in various POW camps.  My son, Sgt. Christopher Brown is a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, did a deployment in the Ukraine training their army for what has now become reality with Russia and spent 14 years in service to his country before leaving in October of 2021.  The picture I chose to display shows the last glimpse of my son that I got as he went through security at Trenton Air Force base to board the plane to take him to Afghanistan.  I cannot tell you the range of emotions that were going through me.  He was just 20 years old, turned 21 while in Afghanistan.   I thank God every day for his safe return to us and can only imagine the pain of those who were not so blessed.  Please help me in honouring the sacrifices made by our Canadian Armed Forces by donating what you can.  Thanks in advance!
