My Story…
I am participating in this Virtual 5K to help raise funds for the Center for Great Apes, Wauchula, FL.
My husband and I have known the Center for Great Apes and Patti Ragan for many many years. The work and care given at the Center provides a lasting "home" for rescued chimpanzees and orangutans.
We had been able to participate in on-site events at the Center but not since the pandemic. I want to give back to the Center for the love and care they show for these great apes by doing this Virtual 5K run.
I'm reaching out to ask if you can give too. It would be very much appreciated by me and the Center.
