Our story…
Hi friends! I was diagnosed with stage 3 liposarcoma two months before my wedding in 2015. I received chemotherapy, proton therapy, and limb-sparing surgery and thankfully, I am still here to talk about it. I am forever grateful to Penn Medicine for saving my life. I am now 6 years cancer-free, but this walk is so important to me and all of us because the money that is raised goes directly towards research for life-saving treatments. We actually get to directly see where the money is going and how it could ultimately affect us if we ever have to go through this again. Any support you can provide is greatly appreciated. Whether you want to walk with our team, Challenge Accepted, or donate, we are extremely grateful.
My motto during treatment was "Challenge Accepted." I trained for American Ninja Warrior and competed four months after treatment on Season 8 and proudly wore my "challenge accepted" message for the whole country.
Help us raise money for Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center
