My Story…
Lighthouse for grieving children provided a safe space for my 3 children to spend time with people their age who were also living with loss. In the parent group, I found a sense of connection and support that is still helping me now, almost 6 years after Eric’s sudden and unexpected death. I run for Lighthouse to remember him, and to help support this place that means so much to my family.

Lighthouse offers children, youth, and their families a place to receive free grief support and to connect with others on a similar journey. They need time, space, and understanding as they try to cope with their pain and readjust to a life forever changed. Lighthouse offers a community of understanding at a time when families are at their most vulnerable.
