My Story…
Lighthouse has helped family members and friends through times of grief and I am very proud to support this charity via the 5km run in May. Please help me reach my goal of raising $250.00 for team Tanya!
I am running on Team Tanya, in memory of our dear friend, community member, and talented author of http://pencilsandpopcans.com/. We were all deeply saddened to see Tanya leave this world far too soon, leaving behind her incredible husband Brennan Howard, and three children. I will also be thinking of my cousin Leslie Adams Chapman and Bart Chapman and their family who received support from Lighthouse after their beautiful baby girl, Amaya Charlotte, returned to heaven 10 years ago. To quote my cousin, "Support from Lighthouse really does change lives."

They need time, space, and understanding as they try to cope with their pain and readjust to a life forever changed. Lighthouse offers a community of understanding at a time when families are at their most vulnerable.
