Help Vaishalee raise money

In February of 2019, just 6 months after leaving my job in corporate America to focus on my kids, I got that dreaded call..."you have cancer". I will never forget that moment, where I was standing outside, the temperature when I took the call on an unusually warm February day, what I was wearing, the doctor's voice, the sound of my kids playing with my neighbor's kids in the distance, the visual of watching my boot clad feet take the steps two at a time and then me bursting into my husband's office to tell him the news. In one single moment the entire course of my life changed. 

No one truly understands what a cancer diagnosis means until you actually live through it, but more importantly the impact emotionally, physically and financially doesn't go away when treatment ends. And for some, treatment doesn't end and so that impact is evergreen as well. 

Family Reach was there when we needed it the most. When all the dust had settled and we had gotten through the worst of the storm, we realized the financial toll cancer had taken on us. We had no idea where to begin rebuilding our life, but it was scary to think we had debt to worry about on top of everything else. Luckily, I found Family Reach through social media and they were able to help us restart on the right foot. 

Words will never be able to be enough to express our gratitude for Family Reach and all the work they do to provide support to cancer patients and their families. Not to mention, their amazing staff who are some of the nicest people I have met.
